I'm Terri Dillashaw, the breeder and owner of First Passion Shih Tzus.
Hello! I'm Teri and I've been sharing my life with Shih Tzus for over 30 years. What began as a love for this wonderful breed eventually grew into a carefully planned breeding program nearly a decade ago.
At First Passion Shih Tzu, I believe quality is far more important than quantity. I intentionally keep a small program, with only a handful of moms and dads at any given time, so every dog receives the individual attention, care, and affection they deserve. My dogs are cherished members of the family first and foremost.
One of the most rewarding parts of what I do is helping families find the puppy they've been dreaming about. Whether you're searching for a particular look, personality, or companion to fit your lifestyle, I take pride in getting to know both my puppies and their future families so I can help make the perfect match.
My goal is simple: to raise happy, healthy, well-socialized Shih Tzus and provide a positive experience from your first inquiry to the day your new best friend comes home.

We offer several stunning color and pattern choices at First Passion Shih Tzu including Dobie, Parti and Sable! We also specialize in creams, livers, lavenders and beautiful darker brown shades of pups.

Our Shih Tzus are raised right in our home which helps foster their friendly temperaments and adaptability. We prioritize the health and well-being of our puppies so they come to you ready to take on the sights and sounds of everyday living and transition easily from our home to yours.
